Back in the 1990’s and early 2000’s, I focused my legal practice on entertainment law. I served as President of the Austin Songwriter’s Group, Chair of the State Bar of Texas Entertainment Law Section, and Board Member of Austin Lawyers & Accountants for the Arts. I taught classes in Entertainment Law as an Adjunct Professor at St. Mary’s Law School for over a decade. I also wrote a book called Song Rights: Legal Aspects of Songwriting.
